Playing Games - Activity 2

Hello Blogging world! For activity 2 we had to choose 1 out of 4 games that we like best, these games were from the olden days but they have carried on for generations and still exists! Here are links to the 4 games, Poi Rakau, Ki O Rahi, Koruru Taonga and Poi Toa. Have you chosen your favourite game? Well here is mine!

Do you like this game well maybe you can play this with one of your friends! 

(i) The name of this game is called "Poi Rakau."

(ii)The goal and purpose of this game is to try and stay in the game as long as you can, someone will say which direction to go to, and you have to go that direction you have to let go of your stick and try get the other players stick without it falling over.

(iii)The rules are you cannot dig your stick into the ground so it doesn't fall or else you are out! The second rule is that there has to be a person in the middle shouting out where to go for your next rotation.

From making this blog post I learnt how what types of games they used to play in the old days. It was hard to watch the video because it was restricted so I had to use another device.
