The Treaty of Waitangi - Activity 2

Hello Blogging world! For the 2nd activity we had to imagine we were at Waitangi. I have never heard of this place but the views and the fun things we can do really convince me to come. We had to read about the Waitangi, In the Waitangi you can do loads of fun activities, if you want to learn more about the Waitangi click here. We had to list 3 top things that we would dream to do and 1 that you would like to do the most, here is what I thought.

  1.  I would like to send a nice day doing adventure, I like to adventure and discover really cool things I have never seen!
  2.  I would dream to go back to ski on the snow mountain because all the views are stunning and learning how to ski again will give me primary school memories again!
  3.  Lucky last I would like to do water activities because the picture of the water looks so clean and pure. I would even like to take photos of it too.
So now on to the time you have been waiting for which one would I like doing the most!

I would like to go skiing again! Because I love bringing back old memories, even though we just went there this year. I wish I can just do all of these activities that the Waitangi has installed for everyone!

Here is a link to where I found this photo! I hope you liked this blog post, please feel free to leave a comment down in the comments section. Bye! bye! Blogging world!

2017 Thrilling Skiing Adventure!!!

Hello blogging world! Last week most of the senior syndicate was in for a ride to Mt Ruapehu. The staff decided to go on a snow camp, you can either choose to do skiing or snowboarding. I obviously chose skiing because skiing was much easier than snowboarding. Everyone that was going to camp had a gear list of what they need for this amazing camp. We also started a camp booklet that has a waterfall of information about camp. My slideshow will be in this blog post.

Half of the families couldn't go to camp but then things changed and they could go. Thanks to Julie for helping us get a $10,000 grant so that everyone could go, and also thanks to our principle who actually let us go on this stunning snow camp. This slideshow would be about some camp information and some research of the some of the places we went to. Below this text is my camp booklet!

Some places like Hamilton Gardens and the Ed Hilary Walkway we had a challenge like however is first to get all the garden names correct and whoever find the most correct answers the prizes was chocolates and for the Hamilton Gardens my group came second so we also won chocolate too. From making this work I have learnt more facts about the three volcanoes and the places that we have been.

What I found challenging was the first day skiing because I have never experienced skiing and I felt like I was in a lava pit. What I found successful was on the second day of skiing because Mr.Riceman helped me and my friend with more tricks, and on that day I never gave up and I tried everything I could because it was sadly the last day, and I needed to spend my time wisely before we left. Big thanks to everyone who had taken their time to come to camp, and the people that taught me how to ski.

Overall I really enjoyed this camp because it was my first time skiing and going on the jaw dropping chairlifts. Thank you for reading this blog post please feel free to leave a positive, thoughtful and helpful comment. Bye! Bye! Blogging world!
