An Eventful Experience - Day 4

Hello Blogging world! Back in 1939 a WWII began again! WWII started on 1st September 1939 when a army from Germany invaded Poland. Two days after France and England declared WWII to began. In this activity we have to find 2 key events about WWII. Here are my 2 key events.

  1.  WWII started from a Germany army that went to Poland. WWII began at 1st September 1939. France and England declared Germany to start WWII.
  2.  On the 5th September South Africa starts to declares war on Germany. But 2 days before 5th September Britain, France, New Zealand and Australia declare war on Germany too.

There is 2 Main people which is the leader of Germany and Poland, it is Adolf Hitler for Germany and Władysław Andershose was for Poland. WWII lasted about 6 years! But not as long as WWI, It is very stressful for families to loose their members that were in the war. From making this blog post I learnt that WWII started in 1939 1st September. If you would like to see more events click here. I hope you enjoyed this blog post! Please leave a comment to help improve my work! Bye! Bye! Blogging world!

  1. Annyeonghaseyo Amie,
my name is Cia. I am a Summer Learning Journey blogger who will be working with Ako Hiko bloggers over the summer break.

I like that you have made sure to include the dates of when World War II started and who instigated the first move by declaring war. I appreciate you showing care with the timeline of events as well, it is important that we fact check before sharing information.

I would love to give you full points for this activity, but first you will need to edit your post to include some specific names of people who were involved in the events of World War II. Had you thought about the main people who were involved in this war? Think about who the leader of Germany was at the time of World War II..

I look forward to seeing what you add to this post and I hope you’re having a stellar holiday season!

Toe feiloa’i fo’i ('See you again' in Samoan),

  2. Hey Amie,

We have missed seeing your activity over the last few weeks now that you have completed the Summer Learning Journey.

This post you have created is amazing. I really like how you have taken Cia's request on board and edited your post to include names of leaders involved in the war. Adolf Hitler was a powerful leader who destroyed many lives and changed the history of the world. I think it is great that you have acknowledged him as a important name in World War 2.

Since reading your post I was interested to find out more about Władysław Sikorski, as I had never heard of him. I am amazed that you have identified Sikorski as a key figure in the war. He was an important and honorable man to the people living in Poland during this time. Sikorski advocated for the freedom of Poland in the years leading up to the war as Russia had taken over the country. He acted as a mediator between the 2 nations and unfortunately lost his life during the war.

Thank you for expanding on your post, it is great to see you taking our advice on board. Remember to continue commenting on other students posts, they would love to hear your feedback.

I hope your holidays are going well. Keep up the awesome work.

    Have a lovely day,
    Megan :)
