Hello Blogging world! Today's activity is to think about our family. We had to go back to the olden days again. In the 1800's people had a lot of siblings the average of siblings they would have is seven to nine! We had to think about being in a big family in the old days and write why or why not we would like to be in that family. So here is my opinion.
I would not like to be in such a big family like this because I might feel left out sometimes because there is so many people to take care of. I wouldn't enjoy it because we will get our parents so stressed out, by doing all the washing cooking food and all the everyday basics.
From making this blog post I learnt that having big as family is not Ideal for me and the parents. It was hard to decide because if you were in a big family you would have a lot of people to play with. It was easy to write the reasons because there is always a lot of reasons to not have a big family. I hope you have liked this blog post and have time to leave a comment. Bye! Bye! Blogging world!
Kia ora Amie,
ReplyDeleteI can see you have thought hard about this activity but have made a strong decision that you would not like to have up to 9 siblings. I really liked that you thought about how hard it must be on the parents. What kind of things would the parents struggle with when having a large family in the 1800's?
I come from a small family of four with one sister who is 10 years younger than I am. I have always loved the idea of having a large family with some siblings being a similar age as me. However, I thoroughly enjoy my peace and privacy and this would be something I would have to give up if I were to have 9 siblings. What kind of family do you come from? I would love to hear about your experiences?
Have a lovely day Amie and keep up the amazing posts,
Megan
