I like this particular Waiata because, it is very upbeat and sounds amazing when you are in time! It was hard to find my favourite Waiata because all of them sound so good! It was easy to say why I like this song because our school use to use this song for Kapa Haka. Next time I will try explain what a Waiata is using my own words. The Waiata - A Song in Your Heart - Day 4
Hello Blogging world! Today is day 4 almost the last activity on week 1! Do you like singing to songs or listening to them you maybe like these traditional Maori songs they use to listen to them when they were younger. ReplyDeleteWow, this song took me back to my school days and I absolutely loved it. You have chosen a powerful and emotional waiata to talk about. Did you have a chance to read the lyrics? When I was reading the information and watching the Waiouru Army boys performing the waiata, I felt the meaning behind the lyrics and was able to understand it better. When do you think a tribe would sing this waiata?
