Ready to Roll - Day 3

Hello Blogging world! In the 1970s the most popular television shows was Ready to Roll. During the show Rodger would introduce music videos and then play them for the TV audience. He would also invite famous singers to perform songs. We had to rank 3 of the clips that were in the Ready to Roll show. Here is my rankings.

 #1 Ray Columbus and the Invaders.

 #2 Golden Harvest.

 #3 New Zealand Underdogs.


New Zealand Underdogs was last because the song kind of sounds very slow and depressing and I don't like slow music. Ray Columbus and the Invaders was 1st because it was very active and a fun song to listen to. I hope you have enjoyed this blog post! Please feel free to leave a comment about what you would rate it.     Hi Amie,

    I like that you’ve shared reasonings behind your ranking of two performances, you’re responses show your opinion well. As for the ‘New Zealand Underdogs’ slow song I guess you could say there’s a song for every feeling. Perhaps next time you could add the videos of each performance to your blog post so readers have easy access to them.

    ‘She’s a Mod’ by Ray Columbus and the Invaders is such a classic kiwi hit, that I can’t help but sing along with whenever I hear it. One artist of that era I like to listen to now and again is Prince Tui Teka and more recently I like to go back and listen to Nesian Mystik and Aaradhna. Do you have a favourite New Zealand singer?

      Hi Cia, thank you for commenting. My favourite New Zealand singer is Stan Walker he is a very good singer.

      Hey Amie, you are welcome. I love Stan Walker's voice because it is strong and raspy plus he has great control. He is such a talented New Zealander, you have great taste in musicians!
