Bell Bottom Pants - Activity 2

Hello Blogging world! In the 1970s fashion was quite unique, for this activity we had to look closely at the 2 photos and write 2 things that we like about the typical 1970s fashion and 2 things we dislike. Here are the 2 photos so you can also write your opinion too in the comments! 


  1.  I like how the women have bright and happy colours on there clothes.
  2.  I like how the men made their hair very clean and smooth.
  1.  I don't like how the women have long saggy pants with a short shirt.
  2.  I don't like how the men have patterned pants because it doesn't look simple.
There was my thoughts, from making this blog post I learnt that 1970s fashion was pretty different compared to 2018/2017's fashion. I hope you enjoyed this blog post, please feel free to read any other of my blog posts! Bye! Bye! Blogging world!

    Hi Amie,

    I’m glad you noticed how slick the men wore their hair. Also like the your observation about how the women wore bright and happy colours. Had you thought about what children wore back in the 1970s? Maybe you could do a little research to find out what was fashionable for children to wear.

    I personally like that they wore shirts very casually back then, but I do love a rock a good t-shirt or singlet most of the time! What do you think your style would be like if you lived in the 1970s? Would you wear bell bottoms?

      Hola Cia, The children probably also wore vibrant and happy coloured shirts. If I were to be alive in the 1970s I would have wore the middle women's outfit.
