The Three R's - Bonus Activity

Hello Blogging world! In the 1960s sport in New Zealand was dominated by the 3 R's, rugby, running and racing. In 1960 Peter Snell won a gold medal for completing the 800 metre race in 1964 in the Olympic Games. Here is a link to a documentary about Peter Snell. For this onus activity we had to watch this and make a poster on Canva about Peter Snell. Here is what I made about him.

If you would like to use Canva here is a link to the website. Peter Snell would enjoyed almost every sports because he is a athlete. You can easily sign up and it is very easy to use. From making this blog post I learnt that Piktochart is very similar to Canva. I hope you have enjoyed this blog post please feel free to leave a comment! Bye! Bye! Blogging world!

  1. Hi Amie,

Already liking the colour scheme of your poster and I think the photo of Peter Snell you selected is a very fitting action shot! Had you thought about what interests he had that you could include in your poster? Just remember that you must include some of his interests in your poster to be awarded full points.

Peter Snell reminds me of the pride I have for team New Zealand every year they’ve participated in the olympics. My favourite athletes are Valerie Adams and Mahe Drysdale, I just adore their dedication to their sport. Do you have a favourite team New Zealand athlete?

I look forward to reading more about Peter Snell, keep up the good work!

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.
