It is very interesting that this show has been up for 4 decades/40 years! It must be hard to keep up with all the animals on the farm and buy the food. I would love to be a farmer because there would be so many pretty views of the farm and so many adorable animals. Another reason why I want to be a farmer because you don't always have to go to the supermarket to buy fruit or veges because you can grow a lot of that!

ReplyDeleteI really liked your point about being able to grown your own fruit and vegetables when living on a farm. My family and I have the opportunity to grow fruit and vegetables in our back yard here in Auckland. We have a lime tree, orange tree, strawberries, kale, rosemary, sweet pea, capsicums, and tomatoes. Do you grown any vegetables in your garden?
One reason why I think I would like farming is because you have so much space for your children to grow up. The lifestyle on a farm is very different than in a city like Auckland. However, farmer's are very busy with limited days off and very early starts. Are you an early riser? Would you be able to handle 4:00am starts?

Ciao Megan, you garden sounds pretty nice I have a garden but I don't have much fruit. The majority of my garden is basically vegetables. I wound never be able to handle a 4:00am start because I can't even handle a 7:00am start! Thanks for commenting!
