Rock 'n' Roll - Activity 2

Hello Blogging world! In 1964 famous brands started to travel around the world. New Zealand hosted the most popular band times, The Beatles. For this activity we had to read more about their tour they had at New Zealand and find 3 interesting facts. Here are my facts that I found while reading about their tour.

  1.  They were so popular that even a girl tried to climb thought a wire fence and got badly hurt.
  2.  The Te Pataka performed a Haka before doing a Hongi which is pressing their noses.
  3.  The crowd was so big in the Beatles hotel that they couldn't even get out so they had to secretly go through the bottle shop so that the hotel doesn't crash.

Wow! They sounded so popular, I wonder what it would have felt like to be in the Beatles crew. Would you like to meet the Beatles? Tell me in the comments down below! Bye! Bye! Blogging world!

  1. Hey Amie,

All three of your facts are accurate and true, I love that you included a fact about Te Pataka’s greetings to the band. Had you thought about adding a few more pictures of the event to your blog post? It sure does sound like a lot happened, I’m sure there are multiple photographs of that day.

This reminds me of Bieber-fever as well as BTS-mania, there are so many enthusiastic fans in the world! What would you do if your favourite singer came to New Zealand?

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.
